Description
The successful MFT Configuration Specialist will be tasked with:
Initial file transfer discovery process to validate the current project concepts.
Producing an overall architecture design for MFT service including: Component architecture, Deployment architecture, Security design and Monitoring
Implementation of the Globalscape MFT service in the Cloud
Planning, configuration, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting of individual file transfer integrations
Working with the integration architect to design seamless integration between the MFT system and the ESB service.
Defining and document user stories in JIRA
Documentation of the new MFT service and support procedures in Confluence
liaising with the internal and external customers, checking network connectivity and resolving problems where necessary.

Scripting and automation
Secondary role included third line Application Support for applications. Troubleshooting XML billing output, managing and troubleshooting issues with 3rd party print provider, assisting Testing Team with diagnosing and documenting defects, assisting in training the organisations permanent Application Support team and automating repeatable tasks.
Evaluation of a proposed Log analytics tool (Splunk) by means of installing and testing within a development environment
