Microservices Architect, Dublin, Contract
An exciting company based in Ireland is looking for a microservices architect who will play a central role in creating and migrating the core applications to Cloud environments using a microservices model. In this role you would be responsible for the design, execution and the deployment of the DevOps frameworks as well as the required tools to migrate existing products.
A successful candidate should have:
- A strong background in the designing and building of Microservice architectures.
- A solid working knowledge of Kubernetes and Dockers
- A background in core UNIX and network administration across Linux environments
- Experience of the designing and building of DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with IaaS/PaaS migrations, automation and provisioning
- Experience of cloud infrastructure performance and security practices
- Knowledge of management frames
- Hands on experience of AWS and/or OpenStack Cloud architecture.
- WebOps experience across Linux environments including configuration and management of Apache, NGINX, JBoss, Wildfire and Tomcat
- A willingness and ability to lead by example.
