Description
Microsoft Exchange Administrator contract role based in Valencia, Spain.
The successful candidate will support the exchange and messaging platforms of our international client and its end customers. You will work from a multinational office for a standard 40 hour week with some potential on-call. This is an English-speaking opportunity offering a new challenge in a great European destination and with a globally recognised organisation. It is not suitable for someone only interested in income potential - Valencia is very affordable!
Your duties will include:
- Work on-site in Valencia, Spain five days a week and provide on-call support when required.
- Monitor, support, design and provide administration for Excghange 2013 environment.
- Respond to issues and provide relevant solutions, document along the way.
- Collaborate with other teams and contribute to service and system monitoring and alerts.
- Provide admin for the general infrastructure.
- Support end customers helping them understand tech issues to prevent repeats.
- Participate in the on call roster for support outside of working hours if needed.
- Perform other activities as required.
Requirements for the role:
- Certification in Exchange 2013. Certification in Exchange 2016 and O365 is ideal!
- Experience in deploying and supporting large-scale Microsoft Exchange installations.
- Familiarity supporting O365 Cloud and Hybrid environments.
- Active Directory skills including support, troubleshooting and administration.
- Migration project experience.
- Strong Scripting skills.
- Preferably experience of other messaging platforms such as BlackBerry, Lotus Domino, SendMail, PostFix and messaging security using technologies including PKI, S/MIME, DKIM.
- Excellent English communication skills (written/verbal)
- Ability to live and work in Spain full time.
