Description
Tangent International are urgently looking for Optical Network Engineers to work a 3 - 6 month extendable contract based in Italy (Rome).
Job Description:
- Optical transmission network planning, design, system integration and migration.
Responsibilities:
- Optical devices configuration, isolate and solve problems
- Generation Optical product High Level Design(HLD) and Low Level Design(LLD)
- Subcontractor remote support for the engineering project.
Requirement
- Bachelor in Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Technician; at least 3 years practical experience in supporting or deploying optical projects (Huawei/ALU/Marconi prefer)
- Preferred experience for Optical NMS/NOC operation in multivendor environment
- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, VLAN, WDM, SDH principle and other protocols
- Experience with WDM/SDH/ASON product knowledge and commissioning, huawei or other vendor experience is preferred
- Good analysis and problem solving skills to resolve technical problems
- Autonomous, strong learning and team cooperation ability
- Language: Italian: mother tongue/fluent; Written English: Proficient; Spoken English: Fluent; Germany/France prefer;
