Sharepoint/O365 Business Analyst with Dutch OR French language skills required for an exciting company in Brussels, Belgium.

The client has used Sharepoint within their organisation since 2008. Their standard SharePoint environment is currently SharePoint 2013, consisting of several farms. They are fully engaged in the migration of SharePoint 2010 to this environment. The next step is to implement SharePoint online within their customer's organization as part of a transition to O365. The assignment is to help them in their transition to SharePoint Online on the basis of his/her concrete experience.

During the execution of the assignment, they expect you to:

Take charge of the objectives to be realized:
- Draw up a plan of approach and planning
- Communicate with the people involved in the activities
- Report on the progress to the application manager and the management
- Document each deliverable

Purpose of the function:

The SharePoint & O365 Business Analyst is part of the SharePoint team responsible for the development and maintenance of the SharePoint sites and applications.

The objectives are:
Validation of the roadmap that we have defined for the transition to SharePoint Online.
Helping the definition of governance for O365: the scope of governance is broader than just SharePoint Online.

Aspects that have to be clarified include (no exhaustive list):
- Vision: which O365 product to use for which need
- Naming policy
- Provisioning & retention
- Classification
- Change management: SharePoint Online brings changes for the different SharePoint profiles (end user, site owner, functional analyst, developer, system engineer). The necessary preparation and support must be provided for this.
- Definition of migration strategy: define step by step how the migration should be tackled:
- Prerequisites: list the preparatory activities and preconditions that must be met before the migration can be carried out
- Definition of who does what
- Which tools are needed for the migration to proceed smoothly
- Prioritization of the sites to be migrated: which sites first, whether or not to bundle certain sites.

As Business Analyst they expect you to:

You will work closely together with the system engineer, architect, technical analysts and are able to offer different solutions, with the designation of pros and cons of each solution.

Result areas:

- Helping to draw up the O365 Governance
- Drafting and guiding Proof of Concepts and Pilot projects around O365
- Sign the approach to provisioning/retention
- Signing the approach to migration

Profile:

- Give workshops to analyze user needs
- Drawing up a vision document and strategy to achieve the goal
- Drafting the Governance Plan (O365/SP Online)
- Practical experience in guiding the migration to O365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, Flow, etc)
- Drafting analysis documents
- Transfer business and functional information to technical persons
- Structured testing and evaluation of IT applications/solutions
- Help end-users to structurally test and evaluate IT applications/solutions
- Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, 2013, 2016
- Knowledge of O365 (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Flow, etc.)

Either Dutch OR French language skills required.
