Description

Looking for an Enterprise Architect (Senior) for 6-12 month contract role based in Dublin City Centre. Start first week in November.

MUST HAVE minimum of 7 years' ICT Architecture experience, of which 5 years should have involved defining and delivering large-scale, multi-year digital/data architecture and transformation roadmaps in a high Matrix structure ideally within a public sector setting.

Be responsible for the definition and development of the IT-CMF conformant Digital Platform Strategy including the establishment of target architectures, roadmaps and blueprints for all capabilities that will be part of the Digital platform strategy.

Work with executive business stakeholders and delivery teams toensure alignment between the Digital Platform Strategy and key business strategies and programmes

Be accountable for the development and delivery of a multi-year architecture roadmap that outlines the steps and iterations required to fully enable the strategy to be understood, accepted and adopted
by business stakeholders and delivery teams. Develop and maintain a plan demonstrating the sequence of incremental and transformative practical service contributions as each
stage of the road-mapped digital journey is progressed. Serve as a mentor to a designated member of the Technical Architecture function and provide input into IT-CMF conformant enterprise architecture designs and best practices. Discuss and present information on the Digital Platform Strategy to a
wide variety of business and technology stakeholders inside and outside of the company.
Drive Architectural efficiencies through a standards based modular approach.
Provide a number of architectural design workshops on components of the platform strategy including Apps and mobile. Define architectural information blueprints for the new Integrated
Information Service (IIS) and ensure congruence between IIS Infostructure requirements and that specified for emerging strategic projects.
Ensure the outputs of recent IT-CMF assessments are Embedded in the future state architectural designs.

Additional Responsibilities:

Help develop diagnostic and qualification processes that help the business guide investment decisions in support of executing business strategy including the implementation of Test Harness' based
approach to the SDLC. Undertake an IT-CMF based environmental scan and lead the analysis of the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.
Assess and provide an assured perspective on the readiness of the organization to change and adopted transformational digital approaches.
Present a gap analysis and/or IT investment roadmap that reflects the status of the existing IT estate, namely, its ability to contribute to future-state business capabilities around ecosystems and digital
platforms.
Undertake organisational capability assessments using relevant tools & frameworks including IVI IT-CMF and provide recommendations for addressing the capability gaps.
Lead the development of an implementation plan for the enterprise architecture based on business requirements and IT strategies.
Assess the as-is environment and help tailor governance, assurance and related processes to guide architecture decision making though a reformed and aligned architecture review board (ARB).
Undertake workshops and ensure technical colleagues are informed and engaged in the architecture road mapping processes.
Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work deriving from development of the digital strategy and roadmap and ensure its version control and signoff.
Ensure approved architectures and strategy artifacts are communicated to all stakeholder and published on the Enterprise Architecture collaboration platform.

Key Skill

Experience of working with the IT-CMF Framework at both the assessment and delivery levels.
Service-Oriented Architectures

Experience in the implementation of service-oriented architectures in heterogeneous technology environments.
Large Scale Sensitive Data Environment

Experience of working in large scale sensitive-data environments, where privacy by design is a central architectural design concept.
Thought Leadership

Demonstrate established credentials of thought leadership, customer empathy and architectural design thinking while driving digital programs. ie evidence of published papers and conference
presentations supported by examples from client experience as a subject matter expert.
Strategic Collaboration and Relationship Building

Evidence ability to collaborate and build strategic relationships across business units, locations and different government agencies.
