Support Agent - Remote Support - Help Desk

A global provider of IT Solutions is looking for a Support Agent, to support a customer based in Brussels on a government based project.

Some of the technical/functional skills my client is looking for include;

  • Knowledge of various software and applications (minimum Windows environment and MS Office package.
  • Basic service knowledge.
  • Good technical knowledge (eg Microsoft office, PCs basic networking).
  • Good interpersonal skills are important.
  • Preferable ITIL v.3 Foundation certification.

Job Description;

  • SPOC, communicate with users verbally and written.
  • Log, categorize, prioritize, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve incidents whenever possible.
  • Utilize Remote Desktop Takeover to improve remote diagnose.
  • Follow-up end-to-end progress of all incidents, requests and standard changes.
  • Escalate to the Competence Group when required.
