Description

Broad Purpose

HCL Sweden AB seeks an IT/Business Enterprise Architect to support multiple client consulting engagements spanning multiple industry verticals including Retail, Banking and Finance, Automotive etc. The role will require experience and know-how in creating, reviewing and approving enterprise architecture models to support complex technology stacks and business capabilities in alignment with corporate strategy. Ability to understand and analyse Data, IT security, Cloud architectures and map and align business services and processes such that a sound Monitoring strategy can be designed and implemented will be crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Enterprise architecture standards are documented and maintained in a coherent manner and that appropriate considerations are made for security and quality.
  • Partner & collaborate with executive management, business and technology subject-matter experts across global cross-functional teams.
  • Elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions.
  • Analyse, evaluate, and advocate the adoption of IT Service delivery best practices within a Global model and across multiple lines of business.
  • Contribute to the designing and planning of Global Enterprise IT Service strategies and long-term strategic architecture roadmap.
  • Architecture of deployment, upgrades, and ongoing management.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps for underlying technologies being leveraged by services
  • Integrate business strategy and proposed projects into an enterprise architecture roadmap.
  • Ensure buy-in for enterprise architecture roadmap to ensure IT priorities align with business partner needs.
  • In conjunction with Senior Enterprise Systems/Solution Architects, lead the design and modelling of tactical architectures for development, delivery, and support of projects.
  • Develop and maintain policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the company.
  • Promote the use of a shared infrastructure, application roadmap, and documentation of interfaces to improve information flow and reduce costs.
  • Participate in and provide guidance for vendor selections
  • Champion and evangelize new and emerging technology concepts, benefits, and strategies.
  • Uses hands-on technology experience to develop special projects and initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience, education and training > 10 years experience and atleast 5+ years in an Enterprise Architect role
  • Minimum of 2 or more recognised Industry certifications spanning (TOGAF, Cloud, CTA, ITIL, CISSP, CRISC, Cyber Security Certifications, etc)

SKILLS and Competencies

  • Critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, orally, in writing and in presentation.
  • Expert understanding of cloud platforms, architecture (Azure, AWS, PaaS, SaaS, O365) and integrations.
  • Expert understanding of network/routing/switching protocols, configuration and deployment.
  • Understanding of Big Data and Machine Learning technologies across the stack from storage, to database encompassing analytics and presentation layers
  • In depth knowledge of Service Now or other IT and Business Service management toolsets.
  • Ability to operate independently and apply strategic thinking with technical depth.
  • Expert knowledge in data, information and security standards, policies and architecture.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with staff/contractors/consultants/vendors.
  • Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Knowledge and operational understanding of applicable privacy and security practices and laws (PCI, PII, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Understanding of Unified Communication Systems and overall telephony.
