SharePoint Administrator

Contractor: 6 months initially

Dublin 2, Harcourt Street

385 eur per day

Work Experience:

Applicant for this position should have 4+ years working with SharePoint and an administrator capacity.

Project Overview:

This is a role where the primary responsibility is managing a SharePoint 2013 site used across the group. The successful applicant will perform administrative tasks such as monitoring, configuration and deployment of updates and services packs.

The role will also include the mentoring of other members of the development team as well as supporting end users. An excellent understanding of SharePoint components such as workflow, reporting, search and document management is required. The applicant is expected to manage the roll out of new functionality and the promotion of the proper use of SharePoint across the group.

Job Description:

  • Experience with SharePoint Designer, Workflow Management and deployment of SharePoint Cumulative Updates and Services Packs.
  • Performing administrative tasks such as the installation, configuration, upgrading and maintenance of the SharePoint Servers.
  • Experience defining and implementing security models and ensuing proper permission levels are provided and maintained for all users of the Site.
  • Cary out regular reviews and maintenance of SharePoint accounts and Sites.
  • Supporting the business users when required.
  • Analyzing and reporting upon SharePoint Usage and Activity.
  • Working with other members of the IT during day to day operations and projects.
  • Completing deployments to production environment.
  • Providing support to other staff and end users.
  • Develop and maintain associated documentation.
  • Monitoring configuration and following up on alerts.
  • Backup strategy and monitoring.
  • Incident analysis and troubleshooting including troubleshooting with vendors.
  • Document monitoring and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain system documentation and change logs.

Skills:

  • SharePoint 2013
  • SharePoint Sites, Central Administration and Security Administration
  • Nintex Workflow
  • Experience maintaining SharePoint features and solutions including custom content types, web parts, event receivers, workflows, and site templates
  • Visual Studio 2010, .NET framework 3.5 +, Active Directory, C#, AngularJS
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript experience
  • SharePoint 2013 custom development and Search Configuration
  • 3rd Level IT Qualification, Background in the financial Industry preferable
  • MCSD: SharePoint Applications preferable.

  • Excellent time management and decision making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English written and verbal.
  • Background in the financial Industry preferable.

Academic Qualification:

  • Any graduation or post graduate.
  • Any specialization in IT.
