Job Description Summary:

This role will initially be responsible for the migration of the MPLS network from Verizon MPLS to BT MPLS across the global locations, connecting back to the Data Centers located in NY and MA in the USA, which is used for both Data and Voice traffic across EMEA and APAC regions.

The responsibilities will include

Working closely with the BT engineers and company engineers in setting up, configuring the network equipment as per the design requirements connecting to the existing Silver Peak SDWAN devices and making sure there is seamless transition from Verzion MPLS to BT MPLS
Working closely with the BT engineers, company engineers and company Services in a seamless of SIP network from Verzion MPLS to BT MPLS
Troubleshoot any voice or network issues and provide short-term and long-term solutions
Work closely with company Engineers in configuring and optimizing data and voice traffic passing through Silver Peak SDWAN and Riverbed devices.
Manage global Checkpoint FW infrastructure
Manage global PulseSecure client VPN infrastructure

Experience should include but not limited to:

Broad range of IT knowledge - Infrastructure & networking skills

Design, implementation and support on the following technologies

o Cisco 1900, 2900 and 3900 series Routers
o Cisco 3750x and 3800 series Switches
o Cisco 5508 and 2106 WLAN controllers
o Palo Alto and Checkpoint Firewall
o Riverbed Steelhead and Steelfusion platforms
o Meraki MX series
o Silver Peak SDWAN

Network troubleshooting (MPLS, Internet, VoIP, QoS, connectivity, WAN optimization)
Client and site to site VPN configuration and support (Juniper, Checkpoint)
Experience with Cisco telephony a plus
Vendor service delivery management (circuit delivery, WAN/LAN activation, Colo operations)
Creating network documentation with Microsoft Visio

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant IT experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate IT concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
Practical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
