Senior Technical Consultant - SCCM, Windows10, Office365, AD, Azure, PowerShell is required by my client who is based in Enfield, North London.

  • Investigate and potentially adopt DLP (data loss prevention).

  • High Knowledge of Mobile device management practices
  • High Knowledge of security relating to protective marking
  • Knowledge of good design principles and traditional architecture
  • Experience developing Microsoft Azure solutions, architecting Microsoft solutions as well as designing and implementing cloud data platform solutions.
  • Extensive experience deploying enterprise scale solutions to cloud services including Microsoft Azure
  • Solid experience and understanding of IT governance processed Office 365
  • Capture the specific customer needs and to gain a proper understanding of the business drivers to enable the design of a robust, and fit for purpose solution
  • Developing Solution Descriptions to form commercial offers.
  • Identifying, scoping and analysing customer requirements during delivery
  • LLD Definition
  • You will define how applications will integrate and delivery services to the business and work with Technical Architects to define applications road-maps and will provide valuable input to the overall ICT strategy.
  • Provide technical support, where required, in the assessment and architecture of new infrastructure-related hardware and software.
  • In-depth technical assessment and when required, delivery of all planned infrastructure related works., PMO projects, Trust projects, system upgrades, system migrations and building works
  • Initiate, scope, design, plan, build and implement new hardware and software solutions with a view to improving ICT effectiveness.
  • Ensure swift technical evaluation, authorisation and release of patches to the infrastructure platform, assisting third parties and business Solution architects as appropriate.
  • Review any new relevant technical developments or new technology as required to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure platforms, liaising with suppliers where necessary.
  • Responsible for the delivery of suitable, effective and up-to-date technical documentation for infrastructure projects to enable operational staff to support infrastructure systems as they change
  • Participate with the Technical Advisory Group, procurement activity and business case development providing technical expertise focusing on new systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Substantial knowledge and demonstrated experience as a solution architect or consultant in multiple ICT domains in a complex organisation with a large ICT environment.
  • Strong working experience of solution architecture methodologies, project management methodologies and in the development and review of solution options and roadmaps which are aligned to the Enterprise Architecture of a complex environment.
  • Strong written communication skills including oral presentations and written reports.
  • Experience with ICT procurement and vendor engagement in large organisations
  • Experience in developing solution architecture artefacts such as architecture implementation documentation, implementation approach and high level design documentation.
  • ICT Solution Architecture activity for projects and delivering specific artefacts on behalf of identified stakeholders.
  • Organising and planning the solution approach and obtaining endorsement of the approach and applicable solution and design artefacts from the Enterprise Architects and Security Architects.
  • Development of solution specifications in a format applicable to the planned delivery approach.
  • Involvement in vendor engagement and ICT service procurement processes.
  • Engagement with stakeholders to elicit and document technical requirements aligned to business requirements.
