Description
A government department in Canberra is seeking the services of a Senior SAP FICO Specialist to support it with the ongoing projects, maintenance and enhancement of the SAP Platform (HEC).
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 5 years and two end to end SAP FI/CO consulting experience
- Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and design
- Ability to deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality
- Ability to rigorously test system solutions with real business scenarios
- Ability to work in a continually changing environment
- Ability to adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies;
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Expert knowledge of multiple areas of ECC6.0 FI module
- Master Data Management skills, including the ability to implement Cost Centre and Profit Centre changes to support Organisational Restructures;
- Experience with implementing and supporting Foreign Currency Payment Processing;
- Experience with the use and configuration of SAP LSMW tool; Uploads/Processing;
- Experience in providing Functional Specifications to Technical team for any Customized developments;
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business users and developers;
- Exceptional organizational & time management skills; Provide status reports on activities and tasks
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills
- Strong demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work to meet exacting deadlines while maintaining quality;
- Track record of delivering successful projects.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to project and customer needs.
- Ability to adapt and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while working under deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation; Maintain functional documentation in Solution Manager; Writing test scripts in HPQC
- Experienced in information system life cycle methodologies
- Extensive knowledge of integration of SAP ECC6 with SAP Cloud solutions;
- Be familiar with programme and project management techniques and processes
- Public Sector Experience
- Working with a multicultural team.
The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen and hold Baseline clearance prior to commencement.
