Security Engineer
On behalf of our prestigious client, we are searching for a highly-skilled security engineer to assist them on a 6-month contract with likely extensions.
The functions of the Security Engineer:
In your role as security engineer, you will be responsible for both operational Key and certificate creation and renewal requests.
The security engineer will work on:
- Certificate management (new and renewals, internal and external)
- Key management (new and renewals)
- Cryptography support
- Maintenance and technical evolution of our home-grown, OpenSSL-based Key Management Framework (KMF)
Required experience for Security Engineer:
- Proven experience in the field of Information Technology
- Proven experience in the field of Information Security
- Proven Experience with Scripting languages, ie Shell Script, Python, Perl, Powershell, Bash, Linux environment, SQL, MySQL database Management
- Proven experience engineering and supporting solutions for each of the following:
- Public Key Infrastructure (Internal and Internet)
- Digital Certificate Management
- Key Management
- Cryptography Algorithms
- Linux expertise
Security Engineer Soft Skills:
- At least three years' of experience in security domain with a senior/management position
- Bachelor/Masters degree or equivalent by experience as a security engineer
- Tri-lingual; French, Dutch, English
- PCI Normalisation Knowledge
- Experience working in an agile way.
