Description
My client is looking for a Mainframe Application Engineer for a contract job opportunity based in Liege, Belgium.
Responsibilities:
Must have excellent Mainframe platform knowledge, skills and experience; must be a quick learner and team player; must have good oral and written communication
Will be responsible for:
- Application/code development, maintenance, test and production support activities.
- Design and test documentation for SDLC and others
Knowledge and at least 3 - 5 years experience on the following:
- Enterprise Cobol (Batch and CICS)
- SQL
- DB2
- DB1
- PL/1
- PL-1
- IBM Debug, Fault Analyzer and File Manager
- IBM DB2 SQL
- Linux
- JCL and utilities including SORT, IBGENER, IDCAMS,
Knowledge and experience on the following is preferred:
- MQ
- NDM
- AXCIS and WSF2 Reporting
- BCP and DMS processing
- PAC2000
- Endevor
- CA7
