Operations Engineer - Data Migration (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Take the ownership of the data migration efficiency by defining and executing the operations concept for mass migrations (automated & guided), as well as support the data utility setup throughout the whole migration lifecycle
- Identification of platform needs relating to high availability, security, integration and data storage along with strong contribution to the migration execution concept
- Perform and support phases from staging environment, movement of data to transformation of data in production environments
- Collaboration with DevOps, solution architects, migration team and other partners to prioritize, design, operate, monitor and support the infrastructure requirements across multiple data migration work efforts
- Investigate, troubleshoot and track issues by determining root cause to remediate issues and develop proactive measures to
- Prevent future occurrences
- Design and implement backup- and roll-back procedures
- Develop data utility operation reports for the business in accordance with all applicable SLAs to ensure compliance standards for infrastructure security and customer data management
Main qualifications
- Degree in business information technology, information systems or computer science
- Profound experience in managing Infrastructure-as-a-Service (AWS) and networks (eg. TCP/IP) for an application with a distributed and/or multi-tiered application architecture that is built for high-availability and high-volume environments
- Excellent experience in deploying enterprise software to AWS-cloud environments incl. SQL and No-SQL databases, LDAP integrations and system monitoring solutions (eg. Cloudwatch)
- Good knowledge of ITSM tools (eg. ServiceNow and Google Analytics) and Atlassian toolchain (eg. JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Fluency in English, German is an asset
