Senior Network Engineer | Swindon | £500 per day, 6 months contract
Henderson Scott are currently recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer to join our clients Professional Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience within design and implementation of end-to-end network solutions in addition to having a wealth of knowledge providing 3rd line support acting as a main point of contact for network issues/escalations.
Key Duties
- Act as the glue between tech and sales on customer meetings, contribute to the pre-sales activity and make recommendations on the design.
- Requirements gathering and scoping of solutions to meet clients requirements.
- Be a face of the business, build a strong rapport with clients and become the consultant of choice.
- HLD/LLD.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors.
- Perform configurations, troubleshooting and administration.
- Manage major incidents and support calls.
- Knowledge share within the business, encourages colleagues and mentor peers.
- Make suggestions on improving client's infrastructure.
Technologies
- Cisco routing and switching, particularly Nexus product range.
- Cisco Firewalls.
- Experience of Enterprise and Data Centre Network Infrastructure.
- Cisco Meraki or similar products wireless knowledge, large scale deployments - build WLC from scratch, setting up Access Points and conducting Site Surveys.

- Cisco ISE
Certification
- A valid CCNP or ability to demonstrate CCNP level knowledge/experience.
- CCNA minimum
- Valid UK drivers license and own vehicle
