As part of our Business Support System (BSS) integration projects, whose activity is to carry out applications and systems integration projects for telecom operators, we are looking for an infrastructure engineer.
Mission
The main activities of the position are:
- Pre-sales activities
- Participations in the responses to calls for tenders, consistent with the overall architecture
- Definition of the hardware architecture (Servers, Storage, Network, ...)
- Definition of high availability solutions, backup
- Definition of hardware sizing with solution providers
- Encryption of solutions with infrastructure providers (S-cube, IB-Remarketing, ...)
- Writing of SOW (Scope Of Work) on the infra
- Activities Projects
- Installation of the on-site infra
- Server installation, racking, cabling
- Installing OS, Storage
- High Availability, DRC (Definition, Procedures)
- Backups
- Databook writing, Administration/operation procedures
- Writing of DATs (Technical Architecture File - Orange Repository)
- Factory Activities (maintenance and administration of the Back Office platform):
- System Administration of Development and Integration Platforms factory
- Installation/maintenance of OS, applications
- Storage management
- User management
- Backup management (definition and implementation of policies)
- Management of network addressing plans
- Response to user requests
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility to ensure and support the implementation of systems and infrastructures for the realization of projects
- Responsibility to ensure compliance with project schedules
Experience/Qualifications
- WINDOWS, UNIX, Linux knowledge
- Knowledge Networks, Firewalling, NAT, DMZ
- HA knowledge, cluster management, DRC, backup
- Knowledge of EMC/NetApp, SAN, NAS storage systems is essential!
- Knowledge of virtualization systems VMWARE, Solaris Zone, etc. is essential!
- Knowledge of Docker and configuration and provisioning tools (Ansible, Chef) would be a plus
- Oracle database expertise (9i, 10g, 11g): sizing, installation, administration, optimization, security, migration, backup, configuration, replication ...
- Expertise other databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Progress) would be a plus
- Knowledge of the SQL language,
- The knowledge of products and external interfaces to the CRM system, as part of a telco SI (Billing, IN, ICC, Product Catalog, ...) would be a plus
- English read/write/spoken essential
- Mobility and important autonomy required for international travel - Approximately 25% travel around Middle East + Africa supporting projects
