Description
A government department in Canberra is seeking the services of Enterprise Architects. The Enterprise Solutions Architect(s) will be responsible for working with a delivery team daily to assist in the documenting and build-out of the Systems Platform. The systems platform is a data centric solution encompassing technology and processes to support agile software development life cycle (encompassing continuous integration and deployment to enable automated release on demand).
The SP will provide capability to:
- Collect data from providers through a single government interface;
- Enterprise Solutions Architect(s) will work with a delivery team to document and build-out the SP.
Essential skills and experience
- Minimum 8 years experience in working in complex government environments on business-critical projects involving cross agency engagement, solutions delivery, and capability establishment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on having an ability to explain complex problems and solutions in a simple manner, and an ability to communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Experience in designing and delivering hybrid cloud enterprise solution architectures using and integrating Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS components.
- Technical knowledge and experience in designing and delivering solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Online), D365 Portal, Office 365, and SharePoint online.
- Technical knowledge and experience in designing and delivering solutions based on the full stack of Microsoft Enterprise Technologies, from networking to virtualisation and platforms and applications.
- Experience in working with and supporting AGILE programs and projects.
Desirable skills and experience
- Architectural Assurance experience.
- Development of Business and Service Transformation Blueprints.
- Experience in development and implementation of strategic ICT business plans and technology roadmaps.
The role requires the candidate to be an Australian Citizen and hold Baseline clearance prior to commencement.
The contract period is 6 months with options to extend.
