Our large, direct client in Secaucus, NJ is looking for an experienced IT Procurement Manager. They're looking for someone who can conduct vendor negotiations for cost and service level agreements, perform due diligence evaluations of External Service Providers (ESP), and promote and maintain continuous improvement of processes within the company and in interaction with their suppliers.Experience evaluating and procuring IT software and hardware is a MUST. The ideal candidate will have worked with a variety of cloud service providers, and will have experience negotiating and managing SaaS subscription agreements. Apply today!
Required:
Skills/Responsibilities:
Full understanding of SW, HW and SaaS, and IT service contracts (New or renewals)
Prior experience reviewing/interpreting HW, SW, SaaS and IT service contracts, terms and conditions.
Track & maintain license counts in respect to compliance for SW & SaaS, etc. using Software Asset Management module of ServiceNow.
Proactively Track & Maintain various renewals.
Basic understanding of market rates and yearly maintenance increases for SW, HW, SaaS and services.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Submit requests for quotes with select approved vendors
Aid in creating and maintaining budget and investment plan
Communicate across multiple teams
Maintain support contracts using ServiceNow..
Manage purchases from inception to payment/completion.
Enter and obtain approvals for purchase orders and invoices; reconcile invoices in preparation for processing
Track maintenance renewal schedules and proactively seek renewals for all maintenance agreements and contracts using ServiceNow.
