Our London Based, Central Government Client is looking for a Deputy Director of Security to manage and align all internal and external security-related activities.
The successful candidate will have Government experience as well as general Cyber security experience. They will also have experience working with high level managers. Security Clearance = SC but ideally DV cleared.
Job Duties:
- Managing the security of a digital & cyber-exposed business.
- Leading the security function of a large organisation with complex environments and services.
- Experience of strategic, development, delivery and operational security life cycles relating directly to modern digital/cloud-based services and delivery processes (including agile)
- Working at board level in a security role.
- Senior stakeholder management.
- Understanding of security & risk management, including those relating to agile processes.
- Experience of engaging, advising and influencing at all levels of an organisation.
- Taking a cross-organisational approach, considering the impact of your decisions in the broadest of settings.
- Forming excellent relationships with the wider transformation & security community including the UK Security & Intelligence Communities.
- A background in understanding how cyber attacks & cyber fraud are practically carried out.
