Required Skills and Experience:
- Perform all of the Systems Administrator duties and support the integration of new technologies into new and existing systems
- Running software updates and assisting with antivirus, AD, and BigFix on Linux/Unix/Aix/Windows
- Managing network time service and IBM BigFix (both relay and client roles).
- Install, connect, configure, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance of operating system, software, hardware, third party COTS, and firmware on systems located on multiple networks.
- Maintain virtual systems, and data protection to include backups using Netbackup, data/disaster recovery, and data flow.
- Test and implement patches, extensions, and device drivers
- Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software problems as they occur
- Maintain all system documentation including certification and accreditation documents
- Troubleshoot, debug server based application(s) and/or IT infrastructure component(s). Performs occasional after hour tasks, including but not limited to, restarting systems, application upgrades, hardware maintenance, etc.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to participate in technical meetings
