Description

The leading telecom company in Europe is looking for a Manager Development tooling who will lead a team Application support specialists to ensure delivery of high quality support service and user assistance to meet technical and business applications objectives.

The person will be responsible for ensuring that all submitted requests are fulfilled on a timely basis as well as guaranteeing high availability and performance of the applications managed.

In particular, he/she will join the T&I Entertainment department and will join the UI & Apps team.

Must haves skills in the CV in order to pass the CV screening:

- Management/coordination experience

- Application support

- Atlassian product administration (Jira data center, Confluence, Crowd, Bitbucket)

- DevOps background is highly appreciated

- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field is strongly preferred

Main responsibilities:

- Atlassian suite Operations

- Application administration:

  • Project/board creation/support
  • Project configuration (Issue types, workflows, screens, notification schemes)
  • Custom (scripted) project configuration
  • Creation of project and page templates
  • User and permission management
  • Creation and management of application links, listeners and web hooks
  • Technical assessment and configuration of add-ons

- Ensuring the environment has the right capacity, redundancy, backup strategy

- Implementation of necessary optimizations directly or via internal support teams using relevant change management processes (System capacity and configuration, database, network configuration)

- Application maintenance and upgrades (including add-ons)

- Ensuring proper communication of critical team activities (maintenance/outages) to users/main stakeholders

- Implementation and management of integrations with external tools:

  • Team management

- Conducting regular team meetings and performance discussions with support engineers

- Ensuring the team is correctly sized for operational tasks and migrations

- Lead, inspire and motivate: getting the most out of the team

- Providing of resource budget estimations
