IT Infrastructure Expert (Database, Middleware & AWS) (m/f)

Main tasks:
- You will help our client’s organization understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud
- Participate in technical discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
- Creating solutions architecture, algorithms, and designs for solutions that scale to the customer's enterprise/global requirements
- Analyze processing issues and data anomalies to identify solutions
- Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all databases/services
- Proactively monitor the database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
- Responsible for problem escalation to vendors or third-party service providers as appropriate
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the field and internal teams.
- Act as lead in Infrastructure and related technologies and contribute to the development of future services
- Assist cross functional teams in troubleshooting and problem identification
- Evaluate and analyze systems, performance, issues and metrics in order to provide recommendations for service improvements
Main qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in architecting, deploying and management of solutions
- Past experience working directly in implementations is highly desirable
- Experience across IaaS, AWS Cloud, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, SQL/T-SQL, PL/SQL
- Senior experience in the IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or infrastructure industries and demonstrate an intermediate understanding of applications, server technology, networking and security
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Past experience writing and publishing technical white papers
- The successful candidate has faced customer facing roles with a proven record of earning trust as well as effective collaborations across multiple internal organizations and in interactions with partner and customers.
