Senior Laboratory Technician Applications (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Perform Application activities alone or together with multidisciplinary teams in the application lab or on site at customers
- Produce plates/parts or samples with state of the art Composite, Adhesive, Casting and Electronic encapsulation processes
- Carry out product and process demonstrations
- Ensure training for customers and fellow associates
- Develop new ideas and application techniques to assist customers and other associates
- Propose ideas and implement them for process related machinery improvement
- Secure Total Quality Management within the laboratories and ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of the equipment and machinery
- Deliver clear and detailed reports of project work
- Ensure that all activities within the laboratory are in line with Environment, Health and Safety principles, Ethics & Compliance
Main qualifications
- Bachelor's or State-Certified Technical Engineer (or similar) degree in Mechanics, Engineering, Part Production Process or Chemistry with profound experience in a similar position
- Good understanding of state of the art thermo set processes in the encapsulation, casting of electronic components and/or composites
- Good knowledge regarding equipment and machinery of those industries
- Good knowledge in epoxy processing
- Ability to work autonomously in the laboratories and industry workshop
- Good background of standards and testing methods used in the above-mentioned industries
- Effective oral and written English skills; German or any other language is an asset
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Process oriented mindset and hands-on/can-do attitude
- Good organization and time management skills
