IT Infrastructure Project Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
RFS Management:
Verifies that mandatory information prior to requesting RFS have been provided. This includes counterparts (contact, sponsors, customers), context (purpose, connection to existing program or initiatives), constraints (dependencies, deadlines), financial (funding, benefits), technical (Non functional requirements, impacted services, support and service models), impacts (if late, if not delivered), planning (expected start/end/GO live) and risk information that is relevant to assessing the need and the urgency of the RFS
Works with Business/Technology Owners to ensure that the technical, functional and non-functional requirements are aligned with the business needs.
Educate requestors/sponsors to adhere to the existing process, manage improvements and act as primary entry point to initiate project request to IBM
Create the RFS request and agree on target dates for the resulting SOW
Track progress against agreed target dates and scope.
Provide and maintain centralized recording of information to support the accessibility of RFS actors and customer senior management
Monitor IBM SLA related to RFS and report breaches.
Once SOW is provided, perform cost, scope and timing sanity check. Revert SOW to IBM in case correction is needed.
Circulate SOW to internal customer stakeholders and ensure sign-offs are provided with respect of SOW validity dates
Broker discussions with and between customer and IBM stakeholders in case of SOW misalignments with specified requirements, cost or timings
Manage an audit trail on every RFS
Hand over of signed SOW to project management
Monitor projects consumptions against budgets, provide approvals on requests for invoicing project charges and running costs

Leads the outsourced vendor with rigor and professionalism
Holds customer stakeholders accountable for their deliverables.
Guides people through changes.
Promotes innovative or improved methods to get the work done and implement best practices.

Skills and Knowledge
Experience managing outsourced vendor contracts and more specifically projects with moderate level of value (benefit/cost), and moderate or lower level of complexity and uncertainty
Intermediate to senior RFS (or RFP) management in a IT infrastructure context.
Possesses working knowledge of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies and ITIL
Able to prepare quality reports and presentation materials
