SQL DBA - Solna, Sweden - English speaking - 13 months+
blue chip client is urgently looking for a SQL DBA
Description:
- 5-10 years SQL coding minimum required
- must have been a DBA in a previous role
- some .NET coding would be beneficial
- must be expert at tuning and maintain a database
- willing to learn about Funds and the fund industry
- must be a quick problem solver
- Must be able to assess code quality, design standards
- Is typically a person who is informed about the latest standards, and new products on the market -Agile delivery experience very beneficial
Daily/weekly activities:
Backup of configuration items
Versioning and baseline (project team)
Maintain all dev and test environments (project team)
Clean up activities
Check capacity
Connections from and to Rikare
Database maintenance -archiving
Database maintenance - indices and statistics maintenance
Error checking in logs
Security checks and maintenance
General Performance checks (locking, memory, deadlocks)
