Dear Consultant (f/m/d),

On behalf of our client an international finance institute we are looking for an external consultant with skills and abilities as stated below.
IFS IT Operation Automation and Test Engineer (f/m/x) financial area Luxembourg - P308
Field of activity

As a financial marketplace organizer, the company provides a portfolio of services covering the entire process chain: securities and derivatives trading and clearing, netting and transaction settlement, custody and provision of market information.

Information Technology designs, builds and operates the technological infrastructure of the company. These highly integrated and automated IT systems are essential to our success.
We are looking for a dedicated Investment Funds Services (IFS) IT Operation -Test engineer to join our IFS IT centre in Luxembourg and help us to support test environment preparation (on premise and on cloud including devops integration/automation ) of our Post Trade systems.

Our requirements in terms of complex functionality, high reliability and availability will thoroughly challenge your testing skills and provide opportunities for continuous improvement.
Tasks/responsibilities

Test environment Preparation following guidelines and using automated deployment systems

Installation of application software in test environment on premise and on cloud

Automation of deployment procedures

Support development and business in issues investigation.

Log and follow-up technical issues and liaise with Development and Infrastructure Departments.

Support production people during roll-out in Production.

Provide clear, regular and consistent reporting to other members of the team.

Identify process improvements, tasks automation, testing tools development.

Qualifications/required skills

University degree in Information Technology.

Technical skills in the following domains are essential:

Linux (RedHat) operating system: expert skills as users (ksh, csh, etc.) and basic skills as System Administrators.
o Good knowledge of JBOSS or Weblogic.
o Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Cloud technology
o Windows operating system basic skills (start/stop/monitor of services, powershell, administration).
o Good knowledge of SQL.

Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage:
o Oracle Database Administration knowledge.
o Cloud Technologies: AWS, etc.
o Perl, Java, PL/SQL.
o Knowledge of batch scheduler UC4.
o Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering or Ability to Improve robustness, monitoring, alerting via tools/scripts development.

o Excellent team spirit and communication skills.
o Highly committed to challenging deadlines, curious and motivated.
o Use initiative to resolve problems, willingness to learn.
o Support IT Development investigations of the functional, technical or performance issues.
o Solution oriented, able to set priorities and deliver under periods of higher stress.
o Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential, French can be beneficial

Assignment:

Fulltime (100%)

Start: 02.01.2019

Duration: 3 months with potential extension

Location: Luxembourg
