ICT Security Officer
For our prestigious client based in Mechelen, Belgium we are looking for an ICT Security Officer with the following experience:
Your profile:
- Higher education (Master or Bachelor) with business economics or technical/engineering background or equivalent through experience.
- Demonstrable security expertise with advising on a strategic level.
- Demonstrated expertise in specific knowledge domain of information security (eg optimising information security governance, elaborating and implementing a cyber security plan, defining the risk appetite and elaborating cost-effective means to meet this requirement)
- Demonstrable experience in analysing, optimising and documenting security processes and governance.
- Demonstrable experience in both functional and technical environments in which the projects are situated.
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience
- Knowledge and experience through certificates depending on domain of expertise (eg CISM, CISSP, CEH).
- Enabling the creation of new and optimising existing business processes through knowledge of the security application domain, security strategies and goals of the client
- Trusted advisor with strong communication skills, very customer-oriented
- Development and follow-up of vision, organization - business strategy and roadmap, within the identified business objectives
- Excellent knowledge of security management techniques and frameworks (eg: ISO27000 series, COBIT for Security, NIST, OWASP, CIS Critical Security Controls for Effective Cyber Defence)
- To be able to transfer expertise to expert knowledge
- Knowledge of specific security tooling for vulnerability analyses, pen tests, PAM (eg CyberArk), Encryption (eg Voltage).
- Knowledge of MS office such as PowerPoint and Excel
The ICT landscape consists of a combination of on-premise solutions and cloud solutions. In addition to a number of business packages, the most important technologies available are Windows, Linux, AS400, MS SQL, Oracle, WebSphere, Azure, SAP, DataStage, Biztalk and Java.
Main Duties of the role:
Implementing and expanding checks and tests on existing security policies
Developing an adapted vision and architecture on infrastructure security including network and endpoint security
Working out a policy and technical solution for security auditing and logging
Support in the preparation for PCI compliance
Supporting the development and testing of the DRP
Supporting projects and colleagues with ad hoc advice
Further elaboration of technical guidelines with regard to GDPR security by design, on based on the high level requirements set by the DPO
Developing a vision regarding Cloud security
Formatting/Updating policies related to
Back-up
Encryption
Vulnerability management
FLUENCY IN FRENCH/DUTCH IS MANDATORY FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT.

Contract Conditions:
Daily Rate: Competitive/Market Rate
