Description
Our client is looking for a Network SME to work in Norway, Oslo on a 12 month contract.
- Strong knowledge on MPLS Routing and Switching is a must
- VPN tunnel migration experience
- Strong foundation in Networking concepts like Layer2 switching, L3 routing, Firewall Policies, Security zones, NAT, PAT, VLAN etc.
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution.
- Good Hands on experience in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, PVST+, IPSEC site to site VPN, HSRP. GLBP, Natting, GETVPN, Ether channel, QOS,ISDN,IP SLA.E
- Hands on with ASR 1013, Cisco 3750, 6509, 6513 and Nexus 7000 Switches and all other ISR Routers.
- Should understand, design and troubleshoot major switching technologies [like STP, RSTP, RPVSTP+, VPC and VDC].
- Responsible for successful execution of the SLA
- Handle L-2 escalations calls
- Network Operations & Firewall Operations
- Can work independently in LB setup and configuration
- Master the Netscaler and Alteon command in troubleshooting sessions
- In addition to LB knowledge, familiar with Netscaler functionalities regarding the Proxy, application Firewalling, IPS/IDS etc
- To administer and manage changes for Routers/Switches
- To monitor the Network Infrastructure using Management Tools
- Ensure all reporting of incidents is presented in an accurate and timely manner
- Identify and document procedures which lead to timely resolution to incidents and problems
- Run all pro-active checks, morning and evening and feed into operations
- To co-ordinate fault escalations, in conjunction with the vendors to provide high-level technical management of priority or technically complex calls.
- To provide level 2 incident and problem management & to perform advanced trouble-shooting to isolate technical faults as the level3 escalation contact
- Master the Cisco command in troubleshooting sessions, used to Cisco TAC process and communication demand
