Description
Our large, direct client is seeking a motivated Cloud Infrastructure Analyst to join their diverse team in a contract-to-perm position.Responsibilities:
Help create and implement processes and procedure documentation to improve efficiency of IT operations; identify areas for improvement and suggest technical, process and organizational changes.
Work with various teams to assess, recommend and organize implementation of infrastructure capacity changes with the vendors;
Effectively communicate to IT staff and users ensuring end user communication is complete.
You'll work with colleagues to consider the needs of the company as a whole, as well as the needs of your function, operating with a focus on enabling services at the same time your team is actively seeking emerging opportunities.
Work with various teams in developing and supporting the core technology infrastructure at the company, including networks, data center, cloud, and related operational functions
Ability to work closely with Management on assessing current infrastructure environments to assure they are functioning efficiently and where necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned
Help manage the CMDB Assets
Other assignments as required
Required:
Experience with cloud Infrastructure service providers (IBM Cloud, AWS, AZURE)
Ability to stay up to date on with cloud technologies.
Experience/ability to write, review technical documentation.
Familiar with CMDB functionality (ServiceNow a +)
Understanding of ITIL/IPC
Infrastructure background preferred
Ability to work with peers to provide technology solutions for particular issues or requests.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with modest supervision.
Ability to execute a number of tasks, at times simultaneously and with changing priorities.
Ability to communicate well orally on technical topics with people of all skill-levels and rank.
Ability to follow through with assignments until all tasks are complete.
Ability to follow and recommend adjusting company defined processes and procedures.
