Description

My client a Trading Company based in Sunbury requires a Workplace Analytics Analyst. The emphasis of the role will be on driving innovation and expanding the company's People Analytics offering using Microsoft's Workplace Analytics.

This will include:

  • Maximising value of the tool to improve the company's performance thorough impact analysis of collaboration and people networks
  • Producing analytics and insight from Workplace Analytics data sets and queries
  • Supporting the Workplace Analytics Consultant to develop and test hypotheses using both Workplace Analytics and other people data sources in the company
  • Collaborating with internal teams and Microsoft the role will ensure that projects are delivered to agreed requirements, standards and within agreed timescales based on business requests.

    The Workplace Analytics investment is sponsored by C suite executives as part of broader modernisation initiatives in the company.

    The role sits within the Global People Data team, a highly visible organisation in the company which delivers People Analytics and Management Information across the company. We have increased sophistication of the offer over the last few years embedding deep dive and statistical analysis to support HR. The Workplace Analytics Analyst is critical to increasing the sophistication of our analytics in line with business demand and internal modernisation Agendas.

    Essential Qualifications and Criteria

    • Proven ability to deliver analytic insights to solve business problems
    • Develop stories to deliver recommendations
    • Experience in balancing quantitative and qualitative analytics
    • Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and show the level of motivation required to work proactively
    • Rigorous attention to detail
    • Ability to interpret and communicate complex findings in a simple a concise manner
    • Good comfort levels using coding or querying languages eg SQL, Hive, Impala to manipulate and query data

    Desirable Qualifications and Criteria

    • Project experience using Microsoft Workplace Analytics
    • People analytics Experience
    • Strong working knowledge of Power BI or other visualisation tools
    • Statistics

    Job Responsibilities

    Deliver Workplace Analytics Projects to deliver value to the company.

    This will include:

  • Undertsand business hypotheses and develop analytics story boards to target analysis
  • Deliver robust and accurate analytics findings to test hypotheses
  • Developing recommendation using Workplace Analytics, Visualsation tools (Power BI) and multiple HR data sets
  • Be the Workplace Analytics technical expert
