Description
System Administrator - Email backbone wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years' experience as Email System Subject Matter Expert or Administrator within in daily operational work
- Advanced knowledge of Linux, sendmail, OpenLDAP and with intermediate network like DNS and Firewall
- Strong background in script development using Shell script, project work and with cross-cultural collaboration coupled with proven experience in corporate email infrastructure
- Familiarity with Proofpoint Sentrion, Splunk Enterprise products, Data Protection, Perl programming and Secure electronic messaging (Totemo Mail Application) are beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Creating, executing, implementing and documenting UAT and production requests for change while working closely with the engineering teams regarding testing in ET/IT and UAT areas
- Supporting deployment and migration steps along with consulting service for application owners and business customer
- Managing and operating Mail backbone Internet Mail and Application Mail Systems, Distributions Systems , Global LDAP Directory and the Secure Electronic Mail System
- Performing system and application maintenance such as patching, upgrades, system optimisation and Mail logs analyses with Sentrion System logs and Splunk logs
- Configuring Email policy changes on hygiene layer (firewall and routing policies)
- Taking over a technical project lead role for Small requests for enhancement and managing monitoring and reporting task
