IT Backup Administrator (IBM Spectrum Protect) - Liege, Belgium

  • Avamar Dell EMC
  • Netapp
  • EMC DataDomain,
  • LANfree backups implementation
  • HP (Servers/Blades)
  • Datadomain
  • IBM Technology
  • Fujitsu
  • Certification of any Spectrum Protect (Administration).

Description of work:

  • To handle tickets (incidents, service requests).
  • To install, administrate and configure the applications used by the team.
  • Ensures the monitoring and intervenes in order to ensure and/or restore service continuity.
  • To optimize and to automate the administration and operating processes.
  • Support users and to resolve operating incidents.
  • Report on the maintenance activities and performance.
  • Draft and to update the necessary operating documentation, plans and/or diagrams and procedures.
  • Identify the recurrent alarms and to resolve the incidents.
  • Anticipate the potentials incidents based on the alarms received during the day.
  • Contribute to the ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Availability, Change and Configuration.
