Sales Operations Director - Commercial

A Global leader in IT security and information management, our client boasts a top class large Global workforce and equally impressive client base.

An established large employer in Dublin 15, they offer a top class working environment and very collaborative approach, which delivers success.

They require a Sales Operations Director - Commercial with 12 years in a combination of Sales and Operations roles in the technology sector to join them, initially on a contract until 30.04.2019 to act as a key business partner to the Commercial Business Leader and support the EMEA HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key business partner to the Commercial Business Leader and support the EMEA HQ
    • Own the role of the Commercial Business Leader's go-to person for all business related support
    • Drive an action-oriented culture, ensuring others deliver on their promises
    • Create strategic analyses to drive the evolution of the business
    • Act as chief-of-staff for the Commercial Business Leader
  • Performance Management of the Commercial Business Unit and Sales Teams
    • Track the business to reach planned growth targets
    • Drive an inside sales culture underpinned by SMART KPI's
    • Conduct all planning activities for the region including quota setting and coverage
    • Ensure the weekly forecast process evolves to measure the business correctly
    • Construct and support the region quarterly business reviews
  • Lead an effective and efficient pipeline and forecasting process
    • Own and drive the weekly forecasting process

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 12-15 years working in a combination of Sales and Operations roles in the technology sector
  • 5-10 years of experience in operations, demonstrating fundamental operations skills
  • Demonstrated experience in a telesales or inside sales environment
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders across a broad range of functions
  • High achievement in an MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualifications is a strong plus
