Business Justification:
Client Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) is a full-service security and investigative team that protects the assets, integrity, and reputation of Client and its clients. We accomplish this by offering in-house professional security services and independent investigations to clients across all of Client's businesses and regions, and partnerships with other Client business groups, law enforcement agencies, governments, and industry counterparts. The Global Intelligence & Analysis (GIA) program within CSIS combines specialized global intelligence research and analytical resources in support of threat (cyber, fraud, & security) and business analytics. GIA proactively identifies threats, patterns, and inefficiencies for Client, its employees, shareholders, assets, and clients. With CSIS transitioning to the Cognos reporting platform and the new case management system being introduced, this position will responsible for the creation of Cognos Reports for the Client Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) program in Client. The analyst will work with stakeholders to create, design, and test custom Cognos reports and dashboards in support of Cyber and Fraud Investigations. Product will assist senior executives and analysts in automating the business, regulatory, and internal audit reporting needs.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in computer science/mathematics/statistics/quantitative methods, and/or new relevant BI technology
3+ years of hands on experience implementing reporting utilizing Cognos (version 11) reports in an enterprise server environment across a large organization
3+ years of experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Data Marts/Data Warehouses
Prior experience with enterprise data management including data integration, data modelling, and data quality.
Demonstrated experience gathering requirements, and facilitating requirements gathering sessions, is required.
Skills:
Advanced level of proficiency with Business Intelligence reporting tools specifically Cognos. Additional experience using Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau, etc are preferred but not essential.
SQL Server experience for BI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
Experience with querying, wrangling, and manipulating data.
Advanced data visualization abilities preferred.
Advance knowledge and expertise with Excel, such as: pivot tables, formulas, vlookup, hlookup, merging data, checking for duplicates, etc.

Strong background in database management, Cognos 11, and other Business Intelligence tools is required for this role. Preferred skills include software experience for data visualization (Cognos, MicroStrategy, Tableau), data analysis, data processing, and statistical tools. Fluency in English and very good written and verbal communication skills are necessary as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Based in Tampa, FL this position will dual report directly to the Global Business Analytics Manager based in Tampa Florida. In support of CSIS Global functions, the analyst will be responsible for the entire reporting and dashboard creation life cycle, including gathering client business requirements, ETL, entity relationship linkage, creation, design, testing, and delivery in Cognos platform.
