SAP Basis Consultant
We are looking for a number of SAP Basis Consultants to join our clients new SMART Metering project in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading organisation. In this role you will work within a team of industry experts on a long term, first of its kind SMART Metering project in Dublin.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 12 years experience, with 8 in a Utilities environment.
- Experience monitoring SAP systems, incl Dev, Test Pre-Production & Production systems - This will be done both through Solution Manager and through standard Basis system transactions.
- Build, Optimizing and performance tuning of these SAP environments in line with SMART Project requirements to ensure best practise is adhered to, across HANA and non HANA instances.
- Experience in design and implementation of HA/DR set up within new and existing systems
- Handling queries from SMART project team on SMART metering specific issues.
- Software Installations and upgrades, Application of Support Packs and Support pack Stacks using standard tools, Kernel and DB2/Linux upgrades.
- Processing and Analysing metrics on system performance.
- Database administration on DB2/Linux
- Administration tasks within Solution Manager.
- Proactive system maintenance and monitoring/troubleshooting
- VMware experience
