Description
Engineering Technician wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Background in testing complex devices during product development coupled with strength in mechanical and hand work
- Practical knowledge and experience in programing force and torque testing machines, such as Zwick or Mecmesin
- Know-How of Solidworks or other similar CAD package
- Practice in medical device development is a plus
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing with team medical devices used in combination products, such as auto-injector or injection pens
- Creating mechanical test methods to characterise the performance of medical devices, including fixture design and programing of test equipment
- Testing medical devices and recording results, following good documentation processes
- Building devices and subassemblies of medical devices following work instructions
- Performing general upkeep and housekeeping of the engineering laboratory
