Commercial Business Partner - Procurement

RZ Group are working with a Public Sector body to recruit a Commercial Procurement Business Partner. The Senior Commercial Business Partner role will act as procurement lead across the organisation on all areas of 3rd party expenditure but with a strong focus on the ICT technology portfolio.
The role:
* Develop effective working relationships across the business, working together to achieve the best commercial outcome.
* Provide expert advice, guidance and challenge to colleagues at all levels on commercial activities
* Implement commercial solutions to meet business needs
* Lead commercial negotiations and manage any commercial disputes
* Undertake effective stakeholder relationship management promoting procurement benefit and best practice
* Lead procurement role in cross functional teams and participation in project boards, acting as the procurement expert, and providing direction to team members throughout the project duration.
* Lead and manage the procurement team, and their professional development;
Key skills required for the role:
* CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply - MCIPS qualified (Mandatory)
* Excellent commercial awareness and strong practical experience of public sector procurement;
* Significant practical experience in understanding and delivering IT procurements which are compliant with public sector procurement regulations
* Significant and demonstrable experience in drafting commercial strategies and presenting options, risks and recommendations;
* Proven experience in developing positive and collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders and external service providers.
