Description:
- Windows and Active Directory Engineer
- Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems.
- Performs system backups and recovery.
- Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Technologies supported include operating systems, servers, networks, system security, hardware and other software applications.
- Troubleshoots system issues and resolves or escalates.
- Creates and updates system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures.
- Years of Experience: 5 - 10.
- Experience: Relies on extensive experience to plan and accomplish tasks .
- Leadership/Contributions: Leads and directs the work of others.
- Reports to: Director. Advanced Degree or Certifications?: Yes.
- Senior level engineer who knows or can figure out exactly what needs to be done without a lot of oversight.
- Proactive at reaching out to server or app owners to gather information and make technical decisions.
