Senior Java Developer (DevOps) | Bern | Telecommunication | 100% | 6 months (can be extended)Must Haves
Bachelor's or Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science or related fields
Excellent programming skills (Java mandatory and either Ruby or JavaScript)
Basic understanding of Network technologies, concepts and/or telco industry
Information about Network skills according to the questions in the skill matrix
Able to build CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks (Ansible, Jenkins)
Software building / package management: Maven, NPM
Independent and dynamic working style, willingness to initiate and willingness to learn new skills & adapt to new challenges
Fluent in English, preferably good in German
Nice to have
Familiar with agile software development and automation, ideally in a DevOps set-up
Ideally you have know-how in: JUnit testing, Virtualization & Cloud Foundry, Linux system, Docker, Oracle SQL, administration of application servers, eg: JBoss
