Description
JavaScript Developer with profound VMware vRealize knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years of working experience as JavaScript Developer, preferably including working with JSON data structure
- Background in integrating infrastructure endpoints, applying technologies like SOAP, REST, SSH and PowerShell as well as in IT automation and orchestration such as vRA/vRO, Openstack and Ansible
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure environments such as Linux, Microsoft Windows and VMware as well as of IT and business processes including compliance
- Profound knowledge of the VMware stack and virtualisation infrastructure landscape including vRealize Automation experience containing the creation of blueprints, publishing of catalogues, design of new workflows and integration of infrastructure endpoints
- Knowledge of other languages used in vRealize such as PowerShell, Ruby and Python
- Certifications like VCA-6-CMA, VCP7-CMA, VCAP6 are an advantage
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Designing, developing and documenting new vRealize Orchestrator workflows and vRealize Automation blueprints together with the infrastructure subject matter experts
- Developing and enhancing the current IaaS and PaaS offering
- Ensuring smooth operation of vRealize Infrastructure stack as vRealize Automation and Orchestrator including Incident as well as Change Management
- Debugging and troubleshooting existing workflows and interfaces in vRealize Infrastructure
- Providing 3rd level support for vRealize Automation related incidents and problems
