Description
IMS Systems Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- Proficiency in IMS engineering, preferably with IMS V14/V15
- Expert Assembler skills for customising and maintaining IMS Exits
- Profound IMS DB knowhow
- Knowledge of PL/I, REXX and CICS(V5.3 - V5.5) is advantageous
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analysing and diagnosing performance issues regarding IMS transaction as well as optimising and automating IMS processes
- Installing, customising and maintaining IBM IMS TM and IMS DB by applying IMS V14/V15 and SMP/E knowledge
- Developing, customising and maintaining IMS Exits
- Training young mainframe talents as well as career starters in IMS
- Guaranteeing continuous support for IMS, CICS and WebServices 24/7
