Description

We are currently looking for a Offshore Installation Manager (m/f/d).

The Platform OIM has the authority and responsibility to:
Coordinate the execution of the work alongside (onboard temporary living quarter) and on the platform. Work includes electrical works, inspections, maintenance and assembly work onboard platform
Establish priorities in works to be carried out together with DGUV V1 person in order to meet schedule target dates. These decisions are made with respect to safety and applicable SHE rules for the crew, the Platform and the environment
Report to Offshore Operation Manager about the offshore activities on regular basis;
Stop the work in case of non-observance of protective measures
Coordinate ship movements for material logistic and chopper movements for crew changes together with logistic coordinator
Sign, on behalf of the Platform’s owner or manager, letters and documents necessary for executing the assignments and duties as named above
Prevent a potential accident from occurring; Restrict the extent of existing damage
Training of his Deputy to take the command of the Platform in the absence of the Platform Manager
Enhance safety and environmental awareness of the entire crew
Create a positive working attitude and atmosphere between all crew, owner and company;
Good cooperation and coordination between all departments
Promote proposals to the head administration, together with department heads, that can make operations more efficient
Fulfill all relevant requirements from authorities, owner, company and management
Keep costs down and according to budget without neglecting the importance of a high safety standard
Arrange inspections and revisions that shall be conducted by authorities, class institutions or charterers

You already have nautical background and have already act as an OIM onboard an HVDC offshore platform in Germany
Bachelor in Science or Maritime field
Maritime academy courses
English fluently, German is an advantage
Rotation 14/14 for offshore work

Certification:
- Sea Survival (OPITO or GWO approved)
- Fire Fighting/Awareness (OPITO or GWO approved)
- First Aid (OPITO or GWO approved)
- HUET (OPITO approved) with CA-EBS
