Description
For our customer in Bavaria we are looking for a Senior Applications Engineer (m/f/d).
Your Tasks:
- Configuration and enhancement of commercial software packages, internally developed applications and web services (in particular Oracle Products such as Oracle Internet Directory, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle Weblogic Server, BPM as well as Cognos, Remedy, Actuate and Atlassian products)
- Customization and addition of new features to commercial software packages and internally developed applications according to end user requests
- Realization of software upgrades and tracking of software licensing
- Contact person for operational issues of the various applications
- Technical consultant to operational teams as well as training, transition to BAU and all related documentation
Your Qualifications:
- Senior solutions expert with longtime experience with non- database Oracle products (Other applications as mentioned above are a bonus)
- Profound experience of project structures and ITIL processes especially chance and release management
- Good knowledge of Linux (RedHat if possible)
- Experience in Java programming beneficial
