Description
System Engineer Backup & Storage position at our customer in the technology sector in Zurich.Responsibilities:
- Align and manage the backup infrastructure with Commvault
- Contribute to the operation of the storage infrastructure using NetApp together with VMware vSphere
- Review, implement, and support business requirements
- Creation and maintenance of system and operating documentation
- Organizing and implementing changes as well as modern and standardized implementation of customer orders
- Perform migrations and upgrades
Experience Required:
- Several years of experience as a system engineer in the field of backup including knowledge of VMware vSphere and Windows Server operating systems
- Practice in backup and recovery infrastructures with experience in enterprise storage systems, such as NetApp
- Good analytical thinking along with problem-solving and decision-making skills combined with affinity for initiative and strong customer orientation
- Completed computer science education
- Languages: German and English, fluently spoken and written
