Cloud DevOps Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Public Cloud work experience with practical implementation on Azure as well as proven automation experience in Azure DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
- Expert Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines and Kubernetes deployments, container isolation and multi-tenancy
- Strong knowledge of container technologies, git and automation tools like Ansible
- Experience with CI/CD for integration, migration and deployment including automated build, test and deploy
- Test driven development including processes like unit tests semantics, end to end integration tests and imperative continuous testing
- Strong communication and presentation skills combined with delegation and self-management in a flat and distributed team
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Understanding all infrastructure code artefacts in Azure DevOps, with specific focus on Kubernetes, Kafka, Zookeeper and NoSQL
- Developing CI/CD process for IaC and Microservice such as Spring Boot and Python deployments
- Implementing cloud native architecture using Azure and creating pipelines for further enhance of DevOps automation features
- Ensuring improvement through close cooperation with development teams in order to understand the runtime and the interaction of their applications with Apache Kafka
- Designing and implementing lifecycle for data as well as maintaining availability and stability of all long living state
- Supporting and giving guidance to other engineers on the test-driven development practices and the implementation in the pipelines
- Ensuring compliance with the company wide digital governance framework, audit and various stakeholders
- Presenting all developed concepts in various bodies as well as documenting all of the above processes
