Embedded Linux Developer - Immediate Start - 80-100 EUR/hr - +6 Months - Munich, Germany - 100% Onsite - English SpeakingRole:
Our client is an expanding start up business looking to explode into wireless market in Bavaria. Based in Munich the role will primarily consist of creating low level sensors used to measure every day needs such as gas, water and electricity. Customer service and product quality are at the center of company focus which is emphasized throughout the role. To ensure their product reaches the highest of standards, they are looking for an experienced low level embedded developer to join their team on a 6 month basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions
- Demonstrate understanding of embedded firmware architecture and be able to balance trade-offs
- Implement new applications and updates on their already existing C++ system
- Contribute to system architecture and development for new product initiatives and feature development
- Ownership of the 'ground up' design and architecture of embedded software for real time applications
- Effectively engage in team work and show good communication skills both written and verbal
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
Qualifications/ skills:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience
- 6 years of relevant work experience in software development.
- 4 years of embedded development experience.
- Experience in developing low level sensors (preferable)
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and embedded Linux
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: embedded systems development/ firmware, operating systems or device drivers.
