Description
My client is a rapidly growing fintech start-up that specialise in payment systems.Due to strategic growth plans they're looking to bring on a DevOps Engineer for 6 month contract. Initially you will be working on site in their Frankfurt offices however, there will be the opportunity to work remotely after once integrated into the project. The role itself will be to help build and support the companies infrastructure. Exciting times for this business as they have lots of tech projects on going right now, therefore the opportunity for a contract extension is more than likely.
The successful candidate will be working with the developers and operations teams to create environments, improve and automate build and deployment infrastructure, as well as optimise and monitor production environments.
Job Requirements
- Architect/NGP:
- Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform
- Experience with Kubernetes or related container orchestration frameworks.
- Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
- Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies.
- Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops
Consultant /Engineering:
- Experience working with AWS
- Knowledge in one or more Windows and Linux scripting languages like bash, PowerShell, Python
- Strong experience with Windows and Linux OS
- Working with source-code repositories like git
- Infrastructure knowledge in DNS, DHCP, LDAP and cloud storage
- Experience writing infrastructure as code in CloudFormation, ARM or GCP IaC
