Description
Azure Engineer - Azure DevOps (Docker, Kubenetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible) | 90% REMOTE | 110EU p/hOptimus have partnered with a leading consultancy that provides cloud and infrastructure consulting and transformation services to a vast array of large clients throughout Germany & Europe, spanning across multiple sectors including finance and the automotive industry. Due to a number of ongoing projects they are looking to bring on an Azure Engineer for a 12 month contract to work closely with one of their biggest clients. Candidates must know how to deploy and operate cloud based architectures, products and services. This role will be offering up to 90% remote working. This project offers the exposure to work with the best Azure experts in the industry directly from Microsoft.
Immediate start, up to 100EU p/h.
Required experience:
* PowerShell scripting skills, as well as other scripting languages (Python, Ruby, etc).
* Excellent experience with tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform.
* Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines using automation tools (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, VSTS, Jenkins).
* Using ARM templates to automate Microsoft Azure.
* Experience with containerisation principles and frameworks (Docker, Kubenetes).
* Experience in using coding/scripting to automate/reduce the time taken to complete manual tasks.
* Experience working with Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
* Solid written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
All candidates must be Azure certified as a minimum requirement, with extensive experience in Azure DevOps - Docker, Kubenetes, CI/CD pipelines.
