ICT System Engineer/Workstation EngineerProject/Role:
For our customer, a renowned company in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced ICT System Engineer/Workstation Engineer.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You are operating, developing and optimizing our service offering in terms of hardware and software platforms, policies and processes.
- You take end-to-end responsibility for your services from understanding business demands to handing off solutions into daily operations.
- You work in local and global IT projects.
- You analyze and fix problems in second and third-level support.
- You automate your tasks with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- You make sure that the endpoints of PwC Switzerland are secure and compliant with the requirements of the global PwC IT network.
Requirements:
- You have a solid technical background of system engineering with the Microsoft stack (Active Directory, Windows 10, SCCM packaging, GPO management, PowerShell, troubleshooting).
- You have experience with mobile device management systems such as MobileIron or Airwatch /Workspace ONE.
- You have experience with virtual desktop infrastructure (VMWare Horizon or Citrix XenDesktop).
- You already have experience with cloud-based client management or are ready to take the learning path.
- You have experience with Office365 and AzureAD, you ideally have already done the cloud transformation journey at least once at scale.
- You understand and enjoy working with other territories in large-scale global distributed projects and their operational model.
- You take pride in the quality of your work and enjoy handing off polished solutions to end users.
- You are a motivated, self-driven, reliable and solution-oriented Team Player.
- You are aware of agile tools for documentation, task- and resource management, such as Kanban and Scrum, the Atlassian Stack (Jira, Confluence) or Azure DevOps, as well as classical ITSM tools like ServiceNow.
Education
University degree in IT preferred or Certification or Equivalent
